About Allume

Allume Energy was established in 2015 and is headquartered in Richmond, Melbourne. Allume’s vision is a world where everyone can access clean and affordable energy from the sun.

More than 2M Australians, 15M Americans, and 300M Europeans live in low and medium rise apartment buildings, with the roof space for solar but, until recently, no way of accessing energy generated from it.

We didn’t think this was fair so we developed a world-first technology, SolShare, which enables the sharing of solar energy from a single rooftop solar system amongst multiple dwellings within the same building.

This breaks down the technical and ownership barriers that have historically prevented apartment residents from accessing cheaper and cleaner energy from the sun.

Our customers span a range of industries including social housing providers, multi-family landlords, property developers, and apartment owners.

With an established market in Australia, Allume is now rapidly growing in the UK and the US.

Role overview

Allume Energy is seeking a self-starting Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team at our office in Melbourne!

We expect significant revenue growth in the years 2023-24, which will be driven in part by a coordinated and strategic approach to marketing.

There will be a particular focus on Allume’s US division as we continue our launch strategy, so there will be an emphasis on marketing activities related to the US market. We also support the UK and Europe team so an international marketing mindset will be key to leveraging our efforts across multiple regions.

You will work alongside our Marketing Manager to help deliver on Allume’s marketing strategy, focusing on digital activities across our website, social media platforms, and email marketing activities.

We’re looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in digital marketing, excellent initiative, good communication skills, and a passion for our cause.

Key responsibilities:

Uploading content to the website, applying SEO best practice

Identifying opportunities for leveraging content

Preparing content for EDMs

Social media posting and scheduling

Analysis & reporting

Graphic design using Canva and Adobe software

Identifying opportunities for leveraging content

Editing video content for social media

Setting up and promoting webinars

Liaising with technical and commercial team to develop content

Ad hoc tasks as required

What we’re looking for:

4+ years experience in digital marketing, in both B2B and B2C marketing

Understanding of marketing automation software

Experience with CRMs

Copyrighting skills – short and long form

Social media management experience

Initiative and proactivity

Understanding of B2B & B2C marketing environments

Understanding of EMEA / US markets

Understanding of customer journeys

Understand the principles of lead generation

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

Basic video editing skills

Experience in running webinars is preferable
