Required Experience

• BS. in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Computer Engineering)
• At least five years of reliability engineering experience, preferably for industrial product or machinery
• Must have experience in production / manufacturing environment
• Strong engineering fundamentals and skilled in analytical thinking with a demonstrated ability to analyze data and draw conclusions for root cause analysis and/or positive yield improvement
• Proven ability to solve technical problems with hands-on product development experience
• Experience in Integration and Process Engineering
• Experience in development of system level testing for component reliability
• Experienced in design failure mode effects analysis (DFMEA) techniques and development of engineering tests and solutions to mitigate non-conformances and/or to improve operability / safety / availability of system
• Well versed in Quality Systems and data analysis techniques including statistical process control, CPK
• Experience with system analysis techniques (fault tree analysis, root cause analysis, Six sigma)
• Experienced in application of problem solving and analysis techniques (8D, 5 Whys)
• Well organized with excellent reporting skills to technical and non-technical personnel
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience with engineering change management tools
• Ability to train and mentor junior engineers for technical transfer of knowledge
• Organized and able to prioritize variety of tasks

Desirable

• MS in Engineering
• Python programming experience for data analysis and visualization a strong plus
• Experienced in design of experiments for component validation and reliability testing
• Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment techniques
• Experience with New Product Introduction / Manufacturing Ramp / Product Deployment
• Experience with product warranties and/or providing support to customer after-sales / field personnel
• Experience with rotating equipment, electric machines and drives, renewable energy, energy storage and/or power electronics devices
• Knowledge of UL and other agency approval requirements
