Job Summary:

Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies aimed at optimizing procurement processes, achieving cost savings, and ensuring the quality and reliability of goods and services. This position involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, negotiation with suppliers, and staying well-informed about market trends to make strategic and informed procurement decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate potential suppliers based on criteria such as cost, quality, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and innovations to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Integrate environmental and social responsibility considerations into supplier selection and procurement decisions.
  • Implement cost-effective procurement strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize the entire supply chain.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a stable and efficient supply chain.
  • Develop new supply sources when suppliers are inadequate.
  • Perform cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Handle basic issues and problems, escalating more complex matters to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier and procurement process performance.
  • Leverage technology and tools for procurement automation, data analytics, and reporting.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and systems to enhance efficiency.

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably in a supply chain or manufacturing business.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms used in supply chain management.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) for effective interaction with technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Ability to present data efficiently and comprehensively.
  • Foster inclusive, collaborative, cross-functional communities.
  • Demonstrate commitment to end-to-end delivery.
