Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Under general supervision of the Director, Supply Chain, the Procurement Specialist ensures material availability to support multiple production schedules. The Procurement specialist supports supply forecasting, purchases materials based on production, R&D, and other business requirements, develops professional business relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive prices, and ensures purchased products on time delivery.

**This is an onsite role which requires 5 days a week in our Philadelphia, PA office**

Core Functions/Duties

  • Manage all aspects of supplier purchasing, forecasting, and delivery
  • Research, identify, and purchase quality products and materials
  • Utilize ERP system to maintain the required inventory levels to support demand plan
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers/vendors, execute supply contract, and manage PPV
  • Manage and support contract manufacturer for both inbound parts and outbound FGs
  • Coordinate and prioritize orders with suppliers
  • Manage material and product expediting as required
  • Verify and manage supplier quotes
  • Process and receive RFQs and place POs in ERP to external suppliers and vendors
  • Manage and execute reports for analysis on delivery, costs, and vendor management
  • Assist Supply Chain Director on inventory levels, cost analysis, safety stock and vendor needs
  • Manage budgets and BOM costs
  • Support multiple departments purchasing needs

Compensation range for this role begins at $65,000 + bonus + equity

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field, preferred
  • CPP certification, preferred

Required Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience negotiating price and lead times with suppliers
  • Previous purchasing role in industrial manufacturing
  • Familiar with ERP system
  • Familiar with Google suite products

Preferred Experience

  • Proficient in NetSuite ERP
  • Experience in multiple ERP systems
  • Accounting and/or bookkeeping experience

US Salary Range
$60,000$65,000 USD
