Position Overview
Qcells is currently seeking an experienced, senior product leader to lead software product management for the Qcells Lease and Power Purchase Agreement businesses, collectively called “Third Party Ownership”, or “TPO”.
The Director of Product Management will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how we move forward within the Axia channel. This individual will spearhead the development and execution of our system design experience, proposal creation, and customer confirmation processes. A key focus will be equipping our dealer network with top-tier proposal tools and overseeing the design of a comprehensive customer portal.
This employment opportunity is eligible for remote work, however, Hybrid or Onsite work may be required for candidates residing within a 30-mile radius of any of our corporate offices in the following locations: San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; and Teaneck, NJ. This position is expected to travel up to 20%.
Responsilbilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Set and drive the vision for enhancing the sales representative's experience within the Axia channel, from system design to proposal finalization.
- Axia Sales Rep Portal: Develop and optimize the portal dedicated to Axia sales representatives, ensuring it meets the needs of the users and drives sales efficiency.
- Dealer Network Sales Rep Portal: Design and implement a robust portal for the dealer network's sales representatives, focusing on usability, functionality, and integration capabilities.
- Third-Party Solar Design Tool Integration: Lead the integration efforts with third-party solar design tools, ensuring seamless functionality and enhancing the proposal creation experience for sales reps.
- Dealer Network Customer Portal: Oversee the development of a dedicated portal for dealer network customers, ensuring it provides them with relevant information, system tracking, and communication tools.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, especially the growth of the TPO segment, to ensure QCells' offerings are compelling and competitive.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the EnFin team on aspects such as POS financing, capital raising, and servicing. Coordinate efforts with the Axia team focusing on sales, portfolio management, and quality assurance for leased systems.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years relevant experience in solar financing, software product management, and channel sales.
- 3+ years of leadership or project lead experience
- Demonstrated ability to start and manage projects from scratch, embodying a creative, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with a knack for making evidence-based arguments.
