QCELLS Enable is the EPC branch of Qcells for the Commercial, Industrial, Distributed Generation, and Small Utility Scale solar markets. Our mission is to provide world class design and installation of large-scale PV and ESS systems throughout the US. Our position as a leading module manufacturer means we can offer end-to-end solutions for project developers and asset managers. We are expanding our offerings and have several open positions currently in our Teaneck, New Jersey headquarters.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position reports to the VP, Operations, or another management personnel that the President/Senior Vice President of the Company may designate. This position is Hybrid, working from home and traveling to our Teaneck, New Jersey office or project jobsites. This position is expected to travel up to 25%.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership and strategic support for all Environment, Health, Safety and Quality programs by developing robust solution designed to mitigate defined EHSQ risks across the lifecycle of the PV Power Plants, especially during construction. EHSQ programs include, among others, supervision, auditing, inspections, and management review.
Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
Work closely with QCELLS USA Leaders to define company processes and metrics, and plan and allocateresourcesacrossexistingprogramstoensurestrategicalignment.
Lead all construction quality and EHS processes with our general contractors, electrical/mechanical trades and commissioning agents.
Build a qualitycultureofcontinuousimprovementthatenhancescompanyefficiency and project quality.
Drive a safety culture that embraces both a “Responsibility to act” and “Show by Example” approach.
Establish metrics to quantitatively characterize safety, environmental and quality status for the full lifecycle of the projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

12 years of experience designing and implementing programs to manage EHSQ operational risks.
12 years of experience in EHSQ auditing and in-field environmental, safety and quality management.
Experience leading cross-functional process improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or in an environmentally related discipline or equivalent experience.
Professional EHS Certification (CSP, CHMM, REM, Licensed Environmental Assessor or similar certifications). (Preferred)
Experience with ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001
Experience communicating with Federal, State, and Local Authorities regarding environmental and safety issues.
Experience leading cross-functional teams to align and deliver technical projects.
Safety, Quality Control and construction experience.
Excellent collaboration, project management, and written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with data analytics: Metrics Dashboards and Data Visualization.
Experience working with PMP, Lean (Lean Construction), CAPA, 5 Why’s, Ishikawa and other quality tools.
Knowledge of PV Solar Plants structural, electrical, mechanical and controls equipment.
Knowledge of operational metrics reporting (e.g., productivity, safety, security, quality, cost management, performance, energy use, water use)
