As a Sales Development Specialist at Jupiter Intelligence, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales pipeline and revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, engaging with prospects, setting appointments and closing business. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What your day will include:

  • Source potential client opportunities via cold calling, (cold) emailing campaigns and through interaction with professional industry network groups.
  • Build, organize and execute a business development plan to achieve business aims and sales targets.
  • Preparation of accurate quotes, development, and presentation of proposals to clients in a professional and confident manner.
  • Respond to all incoming product inquiries, referrals and leads in a timely and effective manner. Maintain accurate records of activities.
  • Provide client feedback on products to the Product Development team so that products can be reviewed in line with the feedback.
  • Attend meetings, (inter)national conferences and regional roadshows as required.
  • Achieve sales targets.

What you bring to the role:

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and attend to the details.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Experience with CRM
  • Knowledge of Atmospheric Science and Data Analytics a plus
  • 3+ years of business development or inside sales
  • Proven ability to effectively sell in a new, rapidly evolving market segment
  • Ability to succeed – independently and as part of a team – in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to leverage existing networks and relationships to drive sales
  • Demonstrated passion for understanding the details of technically complex solutions
