Nuventura is a renowned climate technology company on a mission to revolutionize the energy sector. Our objective is clear: to render SF6, the world's most potent greenhouse gas, obsolete. We have achieved this ambitious goal through innovation, developing cutting-edge electrical switchgear that replaces SF6 with clean, breathable air.

Our business model involves licensing our products to global manufacturers, supplying core components to them, and manufacturing complete products for our domestic markets. We have recently established a new base in East Berlin, combining our office and R&D space as we expand our revolutionary technology globally. As we scale up production to meet growing demand for our already developed products, we are looking for a Production Engineer who will play a vital role in transformation of our type-tested prototypes into fully industrialized products capable of serial production.

You will...

  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including CAD data, design specs, OM, quality standards, and assembly instructions.
  • Control and validate production of BOM, identify and fill any gaps between design and production BOMs.
  • Identify necessary assembly tools, estimate assembly time, and enhance efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Proactively prevent assembly challenges and failures, arrange rework for defective components to minimize production disruptions.
  • Conduct training sessions for technicians, trigger non-conformance reports, and continuously improve the assembly process.
  • Implement safety measures and procedures for testing equipment installation and operation.
  • Establish effective communication channels with production partners and participate in supplier selection processes while contributing to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team responsible for future products, providing valuable feedback on industrialization aspects and design improvements.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support to licensees, enabling successful incorporation of Nuventura’s product design into their operations

What do you need to bring into the company?

  • Hands-on experience with managing production processes in metal and electric works using measurement equipment
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in mechanical / industrial / automation engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrialization design engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Profound proficiency in CAD software and comprehensive engineering documentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of BOM development, quality control, and assembly processes.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing relationships with production partners and suppliers.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering industrialization projects.
  • Communicative German and advanced English skills are required.

What do we bring into our relationship?

  • A sustainable, down-to-earth, and passionate company
  • Family-friendly work environment.
  • Free snacks, drinks and fruit basket every day.
  • Exciting and regular team events, including a Christmas party, summer celebrations with a budget for departmental events.
  • You will be part of an innovative group of high-performance and experienced people from diverse backgrounds.
  • We are committed to your growth and will challenge you directly to become the best professional version of yourself.
  • We believe in a culture of trusted ownership, caring meritocracy, and constructive feedback where we elevate each other and challenge the status quo.
