We’re looking for a Design Engineering Manager to join our team in Bristol on a hybrid basis, to transfer the integrated Origen process into a full design package for EPC handover.

What you'll be getting involved with!😍

A typical day in the life of our Design Engineering Manager will see you:

• Managing the project portfolio of the team to balance the commercial needs and the generation of new projects from the R&D team such that the Design team is prioritised effectively.
• Working with data from existing pilot plant data and findings to maintain a master version of Origen's process heat and mass balance.
• Interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders on progress updates, outcomes, and technical issues.
• Leading the development and delivery of engineering deliverables: H&MBs, PFDs, P&IDs, Process Descriptions, etc.

Looking ahead, you'll be working towards:

• Defining and building the design engineering team with a combination of subject matter experts and general technologists to be able to fulfill team briefs.
• Take existing Origen designs of the pilot plant, ongoing trials data, and previous 'pre-FEED' documents to create a design package for a FOAK full-scale facility.
  
  

To achieve this, you will be:

• A people-focused leader in your approach to creating and developing a team.
• Keen to build on your skills, knowledge, and experience by applying it to our technology.
• Well-versed in the journey of producing a similar design package for a FOAK (first-of-a-kind) Process Technology.
