Hybrid/Remote (Bristol) - open to remote working with travel to Bristol
Why join us?🤔
Origen was founded by preeminent thinkers in carbon removal and industrial technology, who believed in the power of limestone to permanently sequester CO2 and reverse the impacts of climate change. They developed the first iteration of Origen's technology and proved that our concept for limestone-based direct air capture (DAC) could be used to remove billions of tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere.
With DAC and carbon removal now considered “inevitable” to mitigate the worst impacts of climate change, Origen’s next phase of growth will create a lasting impact by removing CO2 directly from the air at meaningful scale.
We're looking for a Lead Process Engineer to join our Technology team and lead the technical delivery of our demonstration and scale-up projects, enabling us to achieve our mission - the atmosphere, restored.
What you'll be getting involved with!🤩
A typical day as a Lead Process Engineer at Origen will see you:
Success in this role looks like:
We know with absolute certainty that our people are what makes Origen awesome - and with hard work, comes high reward!
As a valued member of the Origen team, you'll get:
Our goal is simple: to benefit our planet and all who call it home — every single person.
Our culture at Origen is fair, inclusive and welcoming. We're looking to build a team that brings diverse perspectives to our business. We welcome healthy debate and difference of opinions. We're not limiting ourselves - everyone is part of building our company, including you.
People are at the core of what we do. Your voice will not only be heard, it will be encouraged in order to evolve our technology and our culture.
The journey ahead...🚀
We value innovation, and we apply that to all aspects of Origen!😎
Feel free to send us a link to an online profile, a video, a slide deck, or any other medium that feels right for you.
Our Talent team goes through each application with great attention to detail, so you can expect to hear back within 7 business days on the next steps.
The interview process will be in 2 stages after the initial chat with the Talent Team; first, you'll meet with Richard Tamblyn (LinkedIn profile!👀) for a Teams interview, with a follow-up in-person interview at our Technology Centre in Bristol, if possible. But don't worry, our Talent team will keep you updated every step of the way!🤗
