The Role
Xos is hiring an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust and respond to competing business deadlines. A successful Legal Administrative Assistant will be driven and have prior professional experience as an assistant or administrator in a law firm or in-house legal department.
**This is an on-site based opportunity from our Los Angeles, CA Headquarters**
Responsibilities
- Manage company contract management system and organize corporate records.
- Prepare, review, coordinate and file Section 16 reports of beneficial ownership (Forms 3, 4, and 5) for officers and directors; manage relationship with share transfer agent.
- Establish and maintain electronic and physical records in searchable electronic formats (hard copies only when necessary). File hard copy data and documents as necessary in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain corporate compliance calendar and other policies and protocols; calendar and monitor deadlines.
- Oversee state-by-state subsidiary management, including filing state-specific annual reports.
- Manage shareholder matters, including maintaining detailed file sharing system of equity documentation; assistance with administration of equity plan; assistance with insider trading process.
- Maintain departmental invoice management system and manage purchase order requests.
- Draft, edit, revise and proofread general correspondence, memos, legal documents and reports from various sources.
- Manage corporate records, including Board of Directors and shareholder minutes, corporate subsidiary, director and officer information, governance policies and compliance processes.
- Maintain legal department calendar, schedule meetings and make travel arrangements.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of legal administrator or legal assistant experience in an in-house or law firm position preferred
- Computer/word processing skills, with demonstrated experience creating and editing MS Word documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe

The salary range for this role is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Xos Inc. reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less that the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including not but limited to, job-related knowledge, skillset, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, and other business or organizational factors.
- California: $65,000 - $85,000
