The Role

Xos is seeking a highly motivated and results driven Account Executive, EV Charging Infrastructure, to join our Xos Energy Services team. The Charging Infrastructure Account Executive will be responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities for chargers, charging infrastructure and Xos Hubs, and understanding customer needs and requirements.

As the Charging Infrastructure Account Executive, you will play a fundamental role in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and overall achieving our revenue growth objectives.


  • Identify and prospect clients through social media, membership organizations, trade publications, as well as developing new avenues for identifying near term opportunities
  • High volume of daily and weekly outbound calls and emails to targeted accounts
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and site discovery meetings to demonstrate our EV charging solutions to clients
  • Meticulous note taking within CRM and other internal tools
  • Actively participate in forecast discussions and find creative ways to progress and win deals
  • Move prospects from early sales stages, through proposal delivery stage
  • Exposure to all aspects of the business, mentored by senior sales members and will participate in field sales and marketing opportunities and events, as well as active customer deployments
  • Balance general market interest and informational opportunities by confidentially qualifying (or disqualifying) prospects that have near term goals, budget, and determined schedules that align with Xos revenue targets
  • Develop feasibility study, site design, financial and operational analysis and proposals
  • Represent that sales team at Xos proudly and professionally


  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • 1+ years of inside and/or outside sales experience - electricity products or service based
  • Knowledge of the commercial EV or EV charging industry is a plus
  • Track record of committed employment with one or two companies recently
  • Strong skills with Google Suite, MS Excel, Powerpoint, and CRM experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities
  • Self-starter and ability to thrive in a fast paced, competitive environment
  • Be able to immediately establish trust, rapport, and maintain an honest dialogue with co-workers, industry partners, and future customers
  • Proven interest in professional and personal settings for environmental sustainability.
